H&M fall 2o11

well...i guess i was wrong. there will be some color in this year's fashion :)
i'll take the knitwear, cut of the dresses & pantyhoses.

boots

it's still pretty hot here. summer has really kicked in this august...and i like it. despite that, i went to see, what the stores have to offer for this fw11.

i must say i was not THAT impressed....a lot of brownish colors, which im not  fan of (op. for clothes; they don't look good on me). i did liked how this season is all about clean simple designs and playful patterns in cool-calm colors...a great oportunity to balance it off with bright colorful accessories

my main focus was to find a good pair of boots. and i found them!

 they are perfect for me. black, studded, they go with everything i wear (skinny jeans, skirts, dresses, leggings..), comfortable and sturdy. well worth it's money.

animal design is still IN, so get yourself a pair of earrings, a ring, necklace, a broach (i got these 2 in Newyorker for 5€!) in any animal u find. stick to the aged gold, grey and black for jewelry.
 

mom made me (would made them myself but i dont know how to sow on a old-school sweing machine :P) a pair of "Beetlejuice" (<-- a fan!) baggy pants, to wear at home as sweats :) REALLY comfy.

africa

i've been making these necklaces since i've started my holidays. i've used everything i found at home... rope, wool, yarn, beads.... they remind me of Africa - savana, sunsets, flowers.... i love it! they just need a few more finnishing touches. pics when they are done :)

 + one fun fact! bananas are N°1 product for your hair! 
    it's main chemical element is potassium (kalij) which is GREAT for nurishing 
    your hair; filing the hair, fixing split ends and making ur hair stronger and
    thicker 


    HOW?

- 1 banana
- blender     
make sure you mix your banana pretty well, making a gooey smooth mask    
without any lumps. put it on ur dry hair and leave it on for about 15 minutes. 
wash it out and use a very small amount of shampoo (if your hair is still full of banana bits, then use some conditioner and comb it out). seems a lot of work, but it's worth it!

back to the past

i came back from a little bicycle trip from my grandmas house.
i spent a looot of weekends there when i was younger. 20 min ride and i feel like im on a completely different planet...the wind, the trees, flowers, bees, home-gown vegetables and complete silence ....i love the city ...and i love the land.

house of colour

i've really been C R A Z Y about bringing some colour into our home.
it's a slow process, as i've came to see....but turquoise and violet are the winners ..so far.
and i have noticed that both of the colours are widely reflected in my clothes for quite some time now.

 i adore picture frames.. even if i don't (yet) have the pics to put them in...i love to create a little personal gallery of either personal pics, random ones, pics of flowers, capitals of the world. i mix different shapes and sizes of the frames to get a more playful "theme". i think every big or small household should have one little personal gallery.

 these new "accessories for better living" adittions were really cheap...i love a good bargain...

 ..and i gave the living room window decorations a more summer feel.
