December flew by so fast! I haven't had a real feeling of proper celebration. Must be the serious lack of snow or an ungoing spirit of rebelion and change in Slovenia.

But never the less, i had a blast! 

I hope you all had a wonderful time and got the prezzies you wished for. Even if it was just a hug with best wishes or a bag of sweets - the spirit of it is what counts; we sometimes tend to forget that to easily.

We only have one celebrating night left and new (happy) 13 will be here!

December je "letel" mimo prehitro. Sploh nisem imela občutka, da je praznični čas. Ne poznam točnega krivca,  ampak : ali resno pomankanje snega ali pa vztrajni duh uporništva in spremembe, ki se dogaja v Sloveniji.

Kakorkoli, imela sem se super!

Upam, da ste vsi lepo preživeli praznike in prejeli, kar ste si želeli - tudi, če je bil to samo objem z lepimi željami ali vrečka sladkarij. Šteje dober,iskren namen; prepogosto radi to pozabimo.

Čaka nas samo še ena praznična noč in nova (vesela) 13ka bo tu!

Vila Malina je spet polno založena z "dobrotami".

 Nove Haba igrače, Rice- šalčke, vilčke, pladnji, stojala za torto..., lepe vaze Overbeck, okraski iz stekla in palčki za srečo.

Vse, lepo zavito v Vila Malina papir (zvezdice!).

To be honest, i would be happy if i  would get a new pajama or a bucket of sweets or a money voucher from my fav craft store...or just being surprised.(just no russian novel with 1000 pages, stuffed fluffy toys or dust collecting items that serve no purpose)

Kaj si pa vi želite?

festive window @ Babushka Boutique

I had the oportunity to do another windowd display for the lovely Babushka Boutique.

This time the festive winter display.

Because i am not really a fan of traditional red-green-gold, i oped for a different colour palette.

And i also steered clear of any  raindeers, Santas and co.

I went for a modern, colourful and "full" design. 

Pink shades, petroleium turquoise, classic white and silver (which is the IT colour of the season btw).

Feather graphics gave the whole look a bit of a twist and a native feel to it + they bring good fortune.

Spet sem imela priložnost urediti še eno izložbo za Babushko.
Tokrat praznično. 

Ker me že več let tradicionalno rdeče-zelen-zlat dizajn ne prepriča, sem se odločila za drugačno barvo paleto. In nisem uporabila nobenega jelenčka, Božička in vse pristone praznične druščine.

Izbrala sem moderen, barven in "poln" dizajn.

Ciklamni odtenki, petrolej turkizna, klasična bela in srebrna (letošnja barva sezone!).

Grafika peres je celotnemu izgledu dodala malo bolj moderen zasuk in pridih tradicionalnosti (po indijanski kulturi) + peresa so simbol sreče.

On a lovely and sunny saturday morning i've visited a newly opened concept store.

it opened it's doors to the customers in October and presented a lovely collection of some slovenian designers and craftsmen.

it has a really cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely homemade cookies <3

how about those porcelain sea urchins? they remind me of my summer holidays in preschool times so much!

and those soaps! they smell divine, are eco friendly, handmade and with creative graphic packaging! a must have this season for sure! 

Overall i was really happy that our little hometown is rich for another creative little shop. you cannot have enough of them really.

cART .5

another one! and it went by so fast! really, i feel like every (this is third one for me) art fair is even shorter.
a chilling saturday morning quickly got cozy by a morning coffee greeting me on my usualy place (thanks to Maruša & Tinkara <3). Lucija came right afterwards and we got into a girly chat whilst prepring our stands. Some of the lovely ladys that organized the whole shabang joined the "chat club", meaning, that we (well, I) totally forgot the time. it was waaay past 9:30.

After my quick hello to the other designers and a few shots i had to return to my stand - customers! it noon already!? where did the time go?! and just by skipping a beat, another cART.5 was under wraps. 

i was really happy to see some new designers and all lovely things they brought (prints, ceramic bowls, crystal earrings...) 

+ i've got a really nice suprise. Manja gave me one of her lovely hand painted frames <3 tank you!

it really as a lovely day once again. a big thank you to all the visitors and all the cART ladys. 
i'm taking a break in november, just to get ready for the most busy month to come.
